Liberal Democrats back call for improvement to child and elderly services

Liberal democrats have backed calls in a major review for improvements to care services for children and elderly people. Commenting on a social work review released today that found that a “mixed picture” across Scotland’s 32 local authorities as services cope with rising demands and a squeeze on resources.
